1 A recent project of the Millington Lions was the donation of time and money to repair the community signs located at the north and south village limits.
2 Each year we sponsor a Honor's Night to recognize the achievements of the local graduating students. Pictured are the 2014 honored students. We also award a scholarship annually.
3 During Honor's Night the Lions also recognize a citizen for their extraordinary community service. Pictured is honoree Luella Saeger along with husband Lion Art.
4 Our Lions Club builds temporary handicap entrance ramps for local folks in need.
5 We have proudly given financial support to the Millington H.S. Rocket Club. These students have sucessfully competed on the state and national levels.
6 Our club donated an Early Literacy Station to the Millington-Arbela Library. This is a learning aid for children of ages 2-8 and is designed to teach math, reading and logic skills to children.
7 Sight preservation is a concern of Lions Clubs thoughout the country. The Millington Lions contribute to the purchase of testing equipment for children in Tuscola County as well as assisting the needy.
8 On Halloween Night the Lions serve doughnuts and cider to the trick-or-treat'ers and to moms and dads.
9 Lion Marcus is putting the "We Serve" in action.
10 Lions serve free popcorn during the community's Christmas in the Village event. We also build a float for the Christmas parade.
11 The Millington Lions have constructed pavilions in both Lathum Park and at the Community Center for the public's use.

13 The Millington Lions eat well at each meeting. Lion Sam and Lion Jeff are the grillmasters on steak night.
14 Lion Joe organizes the Millington Festival Car Show. The event is hosted by the Lions Club during the annual Old Fashioned Days Festival.

16 Socializing is important for every organization. An annual trip is planned and members visit a northern Michigan casino.
17 Each year our club celebrates the Christmas season. The primary purpose of our party is the donation of gifts so all local children may have a Christmas gift.
18 Our annual White Cane Sales fund drive solicits donations from the community to support the Leader Dog for the Blind Foundation. The Millington community has been extremely generous to this cause.
